Whether you want to race, cruise, learn to sail, or simply enjoy the social side of the club, SGYC has a membership to suit you.

Membership Categories

Adult / Family Membership* — $320 per year. Full access to racing, sailing, social events, and club facilities. *Family membership covers two adults and all children under 18 at the same address.

Junior Membership — $160 per year. For sailors aged under 18. Includes access to learn to sail programmes and junior racing.

Social Membership — $60 per year. Perfect for supporters, volunteers, and those who want to be part of the club community without racing.

Kayak Membership — $75 per year. Access to club facilities and storage for kayak and paddle craft members.

Note: Membership fees are reviewed annually by the committee. The prices above are for the current season. Contact the Club Secretary for confirmation.

Child Safety

SGYC is committed to providing a safe environment for all children involved in our activities. All volunteers working with children must hold a current Working With Children Check (See our Child Safety page) . Any membership child safety concerns should be directed to the Club Secretary at secretary@sgyc.com.au.
