Inverloch Classic Wooden Dinghy Regatta

The Inverloch Classic Wooden Dinghy Regatta is one of Australia's premier celebrations of classic sailing craft. Held annually on Anderson Inlet, the regatta brings together wooden boat enthusiasts from across the country for a weekend of racing, camaraderie, and maritime heritage.

13th Annual Regatta — 20 and 21 February 2027

Mark your calendar for the 13th running of this much-loved event. Two days of racing on the beautiful waters of Anderson Inlet, followed by presentations, tall tales, and good company.

Boat Classes

The regatta welcomes a wide range of classic wooden dinghies including Moths (born right here in Inverloch), Herons, Sabots, VJs, Mirrors, and many more. If it is wooden and it sails, it belongs at the ICWDR.

The Len Morris Story

The regatta honours the legacy of Len Morris, a founding figure of wooden dinghy sailing in Inverloch. His passion for craftsmanship and sailing on Anderson Inlet inspired a generation of boat builders and sailors, and his spirit lives on every time a wooden hull hits the water at the regatta.
