As part of Victorian government requirements, all club members over 18 must have a current Working With Children Check. You can apply online at https://www.vic.gov.au/working-with-children-check
SGYC Child Safe Code of Conduct
Our club has its own code of conduct. All members are required to read, sign and submit the SGYC Child Safe Code of Conduct with their membership fees.
Our Child Safety Officers are Shaun Freeman and Trilby Parise. Please speak to one of them if you have any concerns.
Additionally, we encourage all members to complete the free online child protection course at https://www.playbytherules.net.au/ which takes less than an hour.
